Lakeview is located on the northern shore of Lake Ontario and is one of the three lakeshore communities of Mississauga (along with Port Credit and Mineola). Mostly known as an industrial zone or the former Generating Station, Lakeview is about to be redefined with a revitalization project to build more residential units, especially waterfront condos, enhance the lakefront, and add recreational space.
Lakeview is an older Mississauga neighbourhood that is especially known for older bungalows built on beautiful spacious lots. With a bit of effort and the ongoing construction works, it could easily jump into the footsteps of its neighbouring area Port Credit.
Close to Lakeshore Road and bordering three GO stations, Lakeview enables easy access to the neighbouring GTA towns and cities. It also takes a ten-minute drive to reach Mississauga’s Square One shopping mall or Sherway Gardens in Toronto. The Lakeview project is supposed to start next year and have the first occupants move in by 2023.
